Movements not well understood. Non-breeders seen in Red Sea N to Gulf of Aqaba, and S along E African coast
to N Tanzania, as well as Madagascar and along W coast of India, in Gujarat, Bombay, also Laccadives and
Maldives; probably this species also in Seychelles. Uncommon to very rare non-breeding visitor to S Thailand,
