Migratory. Leaves breeding areas mostly in Sept, moving relatively short distances. Winter range from S
Nevada, Arizona, SW New Mexico and W Texas S to S Baja California and NW Mexico (E to SW Nuevo León,
S to Jalisco); some individuals occasional reach Guatemala and Honduras. Females tend to migrate farther than
males. Return passage from Mar, often not until Apr, arrival on breeding grounds Apr-May. Recorded on
