Diomedea chlororhynchos

Disperses over S Atlantic and Indian Oceans mainly between 15 and 50 S. Particularly numerous off South Africa and Argentina; abundant off S Australia and New Zealand; not recorded from W coast of S America. Sighted with increasing regularity off E coast of N America with 18 records from Quebec to Texas up to 1981; no reliable records for E side of N Atlantic, though recent British record presently under review.
