Migratory or dispersive; poorly known. Disperses over Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea, where occurs all year
round, reaching Gulf of Aden; vagrant to Red Sea coasts of E Africa in Somalia and Ethiopia, and also W India.
Also performs some movements connected with feeding; moves in flocks, sometimes enormous; sometimes
