Although dusky dolphins can move over great distances - a range of 780 km is confirmed - no well-defined
seasonal migration patterns are apparent. However, the Argentina and New Zealand populations exhibit inshore-
offshore movements both on a diurnal and on a seasonal scale. (Van Waerebeek K, Würsig B,
