After breeding, birds migrate to spend period Mar-Sept on E Coast of Africa, from Mozambique N of R Zambezi
to S Somalia; less often inland to Victoria; S passage in Kenya coast. Present in Sept; probably spends start of
non-breeding season in Somalia before moving S along Kenya coast. Present in Madagascar mostly from Sept to
Apr/May. Vagrant or scarce migrant to Mauritius, Reunion, Comoros in Oct. (del Hoyo J, Elliott
