post-breeding dispersal during wet season |
May be resident at nesting sites in Nigeria, Cameroon, Zaire, Uganda and W Kenya, but much post breeding
dispersal during wet season to rivers further afield. On R Niger found only Mar-Sept; on Zambezi usually
present from about Jul/Aug to Jan/Feb during breeding season, migrating northward to more equatorial regions
after breeding. Migrant nuchalis seen in Oct in Togo, inn range of liberiae. (del
