Migratory, males generally moving before females. Begins arriving in N parts of range by mid-late Mar.
Occasionally found N of normal breeding range, and perhaps also occurs N and West Indies to N South
America. Vagrants recorded on St Martin, St Berthélemy and Barbuda. Adults tend to winter in Greater Antilles,
